iPhoneMobileMob.com - New iPhone 4G

It looks now like the iPhone 4G may be coming out on June 28, 2010 and that one of the feature-improvements that consumers can start to look forward to is a 5 megapixel digital camera, a desperately needed step up from the industry lagging 3.2 megapixel camera the world's leading smartphone touts. This would bring the iPhone's camera up to par with those on all the Google Android devices expected to be released by that time. The iPhone 4G's upgraded digital camera will retain the impressive dimensions of the iPhone 3GS camera's sensors, but it will be capable of 1080p HD video at 30 fps (just like TV).

June is the likeliest target release date for the iPhone 4G in no small part because that is also the time of year of Apple's annually awaited Worldwide Developer's Conference (WWDC). Apple plans to sell 40 million to 45 million iPhones in 2010, many of them planned to be iPhone 4Gs, more than double the 20-21 million expected for 2009.
