At this year’s Apple Worldwide Developer’s Conference, once again company CEO and techno-innovation legend Steve Jobs stood before the eager masses in downtown San Francisco and once again he introduced what’s next in consumer and corporate technology, not just for Apple and its customers but, ultimately, for the world – as Apple (as we all know) sets the standard, paves the way, and raises the bar for all other players in its industry.

What’s next for Apple, what’s NOW for the world, is the long-awaited and much-hyped Apple 3G iPhone. Now the iPhone can achieve connection speeds equivalent to that of its top competitors. To be precise, that’s up to three-times the internet connection speeds of the first-generation iPhone. The new device also boasts twice the battery life, increasing talk-time, standby-time, internet connection time, and music and video playing time.

The new iPhone also comes with a built-in GPS.

It looks very much like the new, second generation iPhone – the “3G iPhone” as it’s being called – is poised to compete squarely with those top devices who’ve modeled their own development after none other than the iPhone itself. It seems only fair.
